hey guys. ive been preping my 2.0 head waiting for word of a nice weekend to put it on my 2.2. quik ?. ive read that to do the rocker assembly swap, the b22 end caps must be used.(including cam gear?) what about when your swaping the hole head. do i use the b22 front cap/cam gear and rear cap on the b20 head? im sure i could figure it out when i go to do the swap but id rather know b4 hand so maybe i could still have time to do the weber the same day.

the only thing you will need to swap is the distributor housing (you might be referring to this as the front cap.) Use the camshaft for the 2.0 head, cam pulleys don't matter.

Oh, I think that I read your question wrong the first time. IF you are using the B2200 head and doing just a rocker swap, use the camshaft and rocker shafts from the 2.0, but everything else from the 2.2 head. The camshaft caps are also the bearings, you CAN'T swap those over unless you want them to wear out faster.

EDIT: And of course the rockers themselves from the 2.0 LOL

thanx man and i was swapping the hole head. i just stated that i read somwhere in order to do just the lifter swap, u had to use the end caps and dizzy housing from 2.2, wasnt sure if that was the same for swaping the hole head. but u deff. answered my question. thanx for the info.
