what motor exactly is this.

Hi guys was wondering if any one could tell me what motor this is exactly. is it a 2.2 fuel injected?

Yep, it's a 2.2 EFI with what looks like some minor modifications

yes its my truck, its a manual. ive never payed any attention to the motor besides the fact that it runs and the pink slip says 2.2. im gettin gready to body drop it and clean the engine bay up because as you can see it looks horrible haha. but when i google 2.2 efi theres just alot of pics of carbed motors and if it says fuel injected they look different then what i have.. was thinking maybe who ever had it before me might have added the fuel injection?? me and my brother bagged it and have done everything to it.

It looks the two B2200 EFI trucks that I've ever come across here in Arizona. They were sold in California and Canada (maybe in Oregon and Washington too?).

That is factory efi setup.l, with a homemade cold air intake added after the fact. They were used in less than 20% of us trucks 1990-1993. More common in colder climates and California.

awesome thanks you guys. why is it so hard to find pictures of a clean setup with this engine? do you guys know of anybody on this site that has a clean setup i could look at?
