yea i'll do them eventually.. i've already got them just gotta install them.. then later put some 8k hid's in those.

update: motor torn apart now more than it was before, pistons are out, cyl walls cleaned up,traded my z71 wheels an tires for some factory chrome ones with nice tires + $100 thanks to brett (local guy with a mazda.member on here but hasn't logged in awhile) well.. heres some pics..

i think i'm gunna keep the blue with the stripes and have all the chrome on it (just needa get me chrome tail light trim) keep it more clean,simple,factory style (:

thanks guys! this is the most work i've put into a mazda yet lol!

took the pistons to the machines shop today so they'll put the new pistons on the connecting rod. then after that. time to put everything back in and together. hopefully she runs but most of all don't smoke anymore lol

what all are you doing to the head?

the head is done. has been done. i drove the truck couple days then tore it back apart again. lol

all i did was clean it up well, mechanical lifter swap, then get the valves seating right with valve grinding compound ( to where i would stick a light in there and no light would seep thru at all ), and new valve guide seals, and the performance regrind cam, that's all i did with the head.
