rear suspension is going to be Audi at this stage. The front hubs have been re-drilled to 5x112, which is also the Mercedes pattern that the wheels have. ive got to wait and see how it all fits around the motor and box first, which should happen early next week i think.

i love this build. its totally different than what everyone else is building and i'm excited to see it finished. what kinda of paint did you use for your rims? are you planning on doing anything with that on any other part of the truck?

thanks Cody, the paint has iron particles in it, and its made by Porters paints in Australia. its usually used for garden sculptures i think..

i might do my dash with it too, and maybe some other parts but im not sure yet. i did want to do my bonnet with it, but rusty bonnets have been done quite a bit and i dont want to look like im just copying the latest trend

yeah the rusty bonnets is a huge trend right now. i think the dash would look pretty sweet like that though.
