well... buddie pulled the motor out of storage and told me "i aint got shit to put it in, and its just sitting, so les put it in the b. ill handle the engine side you handle the truck side" hahaha

so we will see how it works out... motor still need, basically all accessories. turbo, exhaust mani, intake mani, ecu w/dsm link to tune.

were lookin 600whp.

3k$ in head alone.
-flow matched port job, done by a local shop
-.272 lift cams (naaaaasty)
-titanium retainers
-stiff springs
-+1 valves

block is stock bore.
2.4l crank
eagle hbeam rods
weisco 8.8:1 comp teflon coated pistons w/chrome rings
displacement works out to be 2.3L
theres a company called ams, they have a 2.3 setup similir to this making 1130awhp. so we figure 600hp should be easy to get

when motor was assembled origonally a couple years back it ran and drove for 10 miles then pulled from the car... was buring oil like a mofo... after tear down, found the oil rings installed upside down...

so a new set of rings, and a good clean job, its good to go.
