Here is my starting point a 93' b-2600i. Overall this truck is clean with no rust it just needs some TLC. I plan to use it as my daily driver and with gas prices at insane levels it couldn't come at a better time. I am just starting my job so money will be tight, I am going to try to keep that in mind.....fingers crossed. I will be taking it to the car wash tomorrow and see how she cleans up. Well here goes nothin the project has officially started.

Hey guys,

Got some work done today. I filled a trash can with all the crap from the back and in the cab. I also got the drop-in bed liner out and there was no rust just typical wear from over the years. Found out that the tailgate was more bent than I thought which sucks. I also took off the bug visor and the rear bumper. Went to the car wash and six dollars latter it was fairly clean. The truck is starting to look much better. I will get some new pics up tomorrow. I went to the junkyard and found a stock center console for 15 bucks and some plain door panels for 5 bucks to replace the full wrap ones that are in the truck.

Also I realized that I did not give a list of what I will be doing to the truck.

1) Fix leaky valve cover gasket
2) Oil pump
3) Lower Static Front
a) 3 Inch Drop Arms
b) Flipped BJ's
c) Crank Torsions 1 Inch
4) Lower Static Rear
a) 3 Inch Blocks
b) Two Middle Springs Removed
c) Mini C
5) Polish Stock Wheels that are on the truck now (Eskies or Q45 Latter)
6) Stereo
a) CD Player
b) Rockford Fosgate 6X9 in the Rear
c) Rockford Fosgate 4 Inch Rounds in the dash

I figure that is enough for now more to come

Hey guys,

Got some work done over the past couple days. I put a Pioneer CD player in yesterday. I know, Pioneer isnt my favorite brand either but it was sitting in my mustang and I thought why not (Free is my favorite four letter word). I also repainted all of the trim. The truck is really comming around. I tried to put my console in yesterday and it must be from a regular cab because it was like a foot off the ground in the back, so that sucks. Oh well. Here are some pics.

Hey guys I finally did it. I looked at the pics and couldn't take how high it was sitting. I ordered drop control arms and 3 inch blocks. Today I got the blocks so I put those in. I took out the two middle springs so I am running the main and overload. I also cut the bumpstops and installed some new shocks. I got the control arms from Summit and they are getting drop shipped from DJM. For now I cranked the torsions and it is sitting on the bumpstops. I will try to post some pics tomarrow.

looks good, love the body color wheels!

you didnt 'need' the drop controls arms... just needed to crank and reindex the torsion bars... let us know how it rides after the front mods.
