Then it was time to tear in back down to paint the frame...

Etch Primer on all the bare metal first






then 2 good coats of 2K primer and blocked





Basecoat










then clear...




Front of frame painted with chassis black..




Got my link bars painted and started reassembling the suspension...









And then started reassembling body for final fitment and bodywork to tear it back down and paint it..im still waiting for new front ties that y theres no wheels on front..




and thats where im at now

The 24's were pretty cool i sat in the truck and all u see out the back window is tires....maybe one day when its not a daily

Thanks for the compliments it helps keep me motivated to get this thing done...I plan on redoin some things next year some of which include big wheels (24's?) and chop the top 3 inches in front and 2.5" in rear and it wont have a hood because i plan on having a ridiculous motor in it..ive been thinkin about staying ford since its a mazda and going with a 351 but since i sold my c10 i have an extra engine sitting around....


Its a 454 built by Tampa Racing Engines Dynoed 652hp/638tq at the flywheel

well i didnt get too much accomplished today on the truck. been real busy workin on customer stuff. i did however manage to sneak enough time in to shave the mirrors and door locks, bodywork the doors and block them. I'll be keeping the door handles on this one... this will be the first!! I even shaved the handles on my wifes charger and she liked it at first but now hates it.. heres a couple pics of it...






We have everything to bag it were just waiting till november when its paid off so she can get a new car to drive daily

A little update, had a buddy come over and drink some beer ended up gettin the bodywork done and blocked, dismantled the truck to prime and reassembled for final blocking
