well amongst all the bodywork im havin to do because it looks like someone did the river dance on the roof..lmao i did manage to coat my tubs,rockers, and back cab wall with UPOL Gravitex its a Rock guard like the manufacturers use and will be painted to match the rest of the truck.

And i made some brackets to mount the gm 1 wire alt. ignore the washers i need to get a shorter bolt

Thanks for the compliments unfortunatly i didnt get the paint laid because i got sidetracked on how ugly the motor was so i stripped it to bare block and head got a valve job done and rebuilt the bottom end, i had the machine shop hot tank the block and head and then painted it aluminum and painted the timing covers, valve cover, oil pan, and intake manifold the same blue as the truck. it really made everything pop i should have pics up as soon as i drop it in the frame tonight.

I'll give you one of my little secrets. If you want that alt bracket in chrome, then go to your local Autozone, advance, etc, they all have a universal chrome bracket for a chevy, that will work on most anything.

I have used them on my Fords for years, as well as a power steering delete on my little truck. Just cut it to fit.
