My 1988 b2200 longbed stockfloor unhack project

Hey guys decided to finally make a project build thread for the mazda. Bare with me as progress is kinda slow but eventually it may be done. Little background on the truck. I traded my dakota for it with a blown motor and just static on some escalades. Put some 18" boyds on it and wrapped the whole interior in blue and gray tweed. Sold it some kid who did a hack up bag job on it but put a new rebuilt motor in it. Bought the truck back and started the final build longed stockfloored on 20's.




When i got it back put my boyds back on and took a few measurements.

All the junk we had to cut out of the front.

Whole new front setup. Will have tube uppers soon.







New wheels and little photoshop with the longbed and bodydrop. May repaint these same colors or some craig frasier style graphics. Not sure yet

Hell yeah johnny I'm glad to see you doing a build thread. these guys need to see this badass truck being built. through front turned out great like I said before. I wish my front looked that good. that longbed is gonna be killer. don't you already have the longbed for it? and its also cool that you will be still running 2wd sheetmetal. I wish I had ran a narrower rear and kept 2wd sheetmetal. then again if I did then we never would have met lol

baddawg your trucks awful clean itself man. I may need some info on the tilt bed from ya if i tilt it to show off my stainless braided art work if i keep the stock bed floor

Thanks todd. Never enough money andrew. It's going to be a slow build. Once we get the frame done itll move a lil faster.

Ok so heres some updates with pics. Longbed and body drop have been put on hold for now. Have been acquiring parts; new wheels, rearend, new front and rear disc brakes, stainless 4 link. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
