Thanks guys! We were talking about making a billet grille or having the stock one chromed.

unfortunatly i think a billet grill would be impossible to find for one of these. unless someones got one from the 80's layin around. I know a shop that does chroming of plastic parts, and i think we may give that a shot. I took it for its first real drive this morning and all was good, by next year it'll def have some shocks put on! Yea it gets about 6in of hop in the rear with 160 psi on 3/8 valves. Did not expect that, my truck is all 1/2 with 200 psi and wont even get that much! Nick should be in the shop right now getting the alignment, clutch bled and an inspection. Hopefully get about 500 miles on it this weekend in the nice weather. Its nice to be done for awhile and just drive!

Well got it aligned yesterday and it passed inspection! Put about 50 miles on it, theres a few electrical gremlins that need to be worked out but its pretty good overall. Going to a show in a few hours, pics later.

So not much of an update, just been driving the truck as much as possible before it gets parked for the winter. Ive got a bit of an issue with it dieseling when I shut the truck off. Not sure if its timing or what. Trying to set the timing this morning but the marks on the crank pulley are gone. As I was searching this morning on where the timing marks were I came across this thread:
Thats 2 owners of it ago.

Did ya find the timing marks though. My 84 did that too, I just started laying it out, put it in first and letting the clutch out to kill it

No cant see the marks at all. Going back out in a bit to look again. Thats what Ive been doing as well, its just annoying.

Yeah, I'll go take a pic of the marks in a min for ya
