So I got to get out a work on Teazn Pleazn today. Got the dash out and was trying to figure out where to make my cuts on the floor for the boby drop. Well the good news is there is no rust in the floor pans. They are in great shape. While looking at the area by the fire wall I was trying to figure out how I could cut around the trans tunnel by the heater core so it would still be usable. Any sugestions let me know. So everyone knows one of my big goals for this truck is to lay on 20's and keep factory heat and a/c. No pics today.

Mine isnt cut for 20's but I just dont see how your gonna be able to tub the firewall and keep the stock heater box.. Originally when I got my truck I planned on putting 20's but keeping heat and AC is a must. So after looking at everything I am going to run 18's... might run 20's in the rear. But that is a looong ways down the road... The blower is jammed right into the corner.. I didn't pull my dash, cause it wasnt that important to me to stay with 20's.

IF I hadnt just wrapped my floorboards in insulation (and its undercoated underneath) I would let you check my cuts.. Basically they cut mine where the floor board kicks up on an angle.. and at the top of the trans tunnel. Good luck, its getting cold, you got some heat in that garage yet?

Yeah haven't had much free time, what I have I have used on.. the truck. I have hurt my back somehow i think doing this insulation, so today i was hoping to finish but that's not looking to good.

Well here is a list of new parts for the truck:
Got a new bag on bar setup
Ordered my mirrors and silenoids (be here by the end of the week)
Got a new grille
Gonna have a cutting and welding party here soon. Check my question about the bag on bar setup.

We didn't start cutting this weekend. Did a lot of mock up and planning on the body drop and bag on bar setup. Looked at Bratlif's truck to see how to do the radiator support area was done. That helped alot. Trying to make sure I have everything to do this (need a trailer fender to use for my tubs). Plus my guy didnt come through on my filler metal sat. So it made me work on some other things. Had to push the truck out and turn it around for some extra room in the garage for when we do start. Removed the radiator and marked the frame for the notch there. Undid all the lines running down the frame. No extra work prep prep and more prep.

Man your gonna need a second building, one for parts e for the truck until you start reassembly. It's tight in there, keep planning it out, that's important, step by step especially when space and time are limited. Plan out what you can realistically get done at one timegood luck..
