I needed a 6" cowl hood to clear my big block set up in th b2200 and after i found out you can not buy one I have built a plug so i can make my own lift off cowl hood. here it is so far. i should have the mold made next week then i can build all I want.

can you make the mold with changeable cowl size...that would be cool as hell and may sell better if you can make what someone needs

if this works like it should i may build some with smaller cowls that will use factory hinges. this will be a lift off

I got the mold seperated from the plug this morning before work. it turned out pretty good. I ordered the rest of the mat to build a hood earlier today. we are going to build one saturday.

just got the first hood out of the mold today. it was not perfect but good enough i can do the body work and get some primer on it this week. i am by no means a fiberglass expert. it is done in clear gel coat next time i think i would use a colored one. here is some pictures
