86 b2000 Drift Truck

Coming along nicely. I still havent talked my ol lady into trying out the welder...

took about two hours of hammering to get the old ones out, didn't think to bring my air hammer home from the shop....oh well



so now i just gotta get a driveshaft made, maybe a little black spray paint and a little cutting to get the bed back on.

This is gonna be epic! What am I saying it already is! Looking good bro!

Lots of work you did there. It ended up looking pretty cool but Ill admit at first I was a little worried haha. Im interested to see how this works out for you.

no more pics at this point...just did a bunch of welding on the bottom side, made some washers for the new bushings. gonna get a driveshaft made this week and gonna take her for a test drive and see how she feels. I wanna get some aftermarket ruca's and gotta do an alignment and we should be good to go.

so i skipped a bunch of pics but got a couple videos from this weekends drift event.

welp, winter is here so im gonna start tearing it apart again. get some paint on the rear end setup(starting to rust a little), put on all new suspension arms. Upper and lower control arms, toe arms and weld the diff a little more since when i did it originally i was in a hurry. Pics to follow(at some point).

for the sub frame pulled back out, cleaned it up a bit and put on all new arms.







and back together

so, got it back together a few days ago, now just gotta take it down to shop and do an alignment, trying to get 0 toe, -1 degree camber in the rear, -4 degrees camber with -7 degrees caster and zero toe in the front.

I had to modify my a-arms to get that much caster. I actually achieved -11.
