they will have alot more rust on them if you ever unwrap them. the wrap traps water and causes them to rust.

yeh....i figured that....but its temporary till i cna get them coated. I got a brand new motor and i didnt want to put ugly used headers on the motor...would look kinda weird. And its not a daily driver either. so it wont be as bad. They are good coated headers...just used and old...a few rust spots fron were the old coating has cracked a little. Its all good for now.

love your truck dude. Why auto trans and not 5 speed?
jc50942   +1y

every body asks me that...so here's the story...when i started the project ...i had NO money....got the TH350 for like 50 bucks. Couldnt find a decent 5 speed(i wanted a t-5) in my price range. Then i started thinking about it...why do drifters like the manual? mostly so they can kick the clutch to get the tires spining....ive got enought power that i dont need to do that. And to be different i guess(at least in the drifting world). I just started drifting so its not like i gotta get used to something different. I just gotta get used to drifting. It does however have a full lock manual valve body...just had that done. So its kinda like a manual...just no clutch...and if it gets to be that bad i can always switch to a 5 speed later without much trouble.
