This is my 87 mazda b2000. Traded a cb750 motor for it. Was in pretty good condition body wise, but the motor was burning oil and the clutch was toast. After joining the site, i got the ambition to actually do something with this pickup and plan on soon havin a fun weekend, mess around pickup. Satin black was done by a buddy of mine, along with the mexican drug rug interior
Suspension: (im cheap)
4" blocks
removed torsion bars
Engine/trans:
rebuilt 406 c.i. small block chevy
stock bottom end
weiand single plane high rise
carter 750cfm 4 barrel carb
Turbo 350 trans
Motor and trans went in great, no modifications to the firewall or trans tunnel necessary. Tranny mounts lined up perfect with the stock crossmember moved to the closest mounting holes. As you can see mounting a radiator and electric fans will be very tight. Traction is going to be a serious issue but what the hell, its just gona be a fun little truck, wasnt lookin to break any 1/4 mile times or anything.
Way it looked before
