project fix a hack

all i did was cut out the old bracket.. and more cutting..

im planning to get the front done by the end of the month
then work on the back half.. i dont have any ideas yet.. might just keep it simple

p.s.. in ontario do you have to have a truck bed? if not ill just do a crazy frame set up

like i said, i didnt have any pictures of the previous bracket.. but it was terrible.. the one part wasnt cut out and the bag was slightly rubbing.. anyways i did some cutting today.. i only did the one side as i dont have much time.. i still need to weld upper and lower brackets and other supports

how the truck sits now .. looks upsetting

also.. the lower control arm needs to be supported where the idiot cut.. he cant even cut a straight line..everything is easier and less time consuming when done from scratch.. lesson learned

man why is everyone so far away from me on this site.....i got a bunch of lower control arms from raw to powdercoated that i am apparently storing for a rainy day when contorl arms are hard to find...yours for the takings if we were local...but if you wanna drive all the wway to washington then you ar more than welcome to any of the sets i got i will even throw in a powdercoated sway bar for gas money....

yea , it looks way better so far.. the previous owner didnt even cut out that one parts.. reading the how to on the forum has helped me so much

yes its nice working indoors.. but winter is gettin closer .. good thing i bought a heater aha

i wanna try as much as i can to finish the front but i dont want to cut corners and rush so im not in a hurry.. i want to have it complete for june 2013.. ill post pictures as i go to try and keep the thread alive aha.. positive comments and criticism always helps for motivation and improvements
