Not too much new right now. I've been saving up for my rims and tires so money has been tight, i.e. no internet and cable. Haven't been able to buy some other things I need to keep going. I did pick up an 85 Toyota rear axle and replace all the seals, bearings, and converted it over to disc brakes as well.

I also went ahead and painted a portion of the frame so I can put the body back on soon. I just put the engine back in this week and need to square it up and bolt it down. I still need to pull the valve cover and polish it as well. Sorry for the terrible phone pics and please disregard all the metal shavings on the engine. It looked nice and shiny when it was clean.

I also received my rims last week and went ahead and ordered my tires, which should have been here this week, but the holiday is holding them up. I cannot wait to have these puppies bolted up!

Last but not least, I received my LCA's today from Chris at Unusual Fabrication and am planning on painting them tonight.

All in all, it's been an exiting couple of weeks with parts finally coming in! Hopefully, I can get most of the front suspension reinstalled this weekend. I still need to re-drill my front hubs and machine the spindles for the new ball joints. So we'll see how everything goes. Once the suspension is back together, I'm planning on smoothing the firewall, then the body goes on. I'm hoping things will start to move a little quicker since I'm starting to get back on my feet again. I'm over working on this damn frame right now and want to get back to some fab on the body. I'll try to keep y'all updated a bit more. Cheers!

The truck was already cool but the concept will be even cooler.
I see that the wheels in your rendering are not going the same direction

Thanks. Yeah, the wheel direction thing has always bugged me. I'm going to redo the rendering now that I have my rims in. At the time, I could only find one good photo on the internet to use and I had to flip the photo so the angle looked correct.

If your looking to have a professional rendering done id suggest Below Grade Designs. We use him for the courier build and he has been phenomenal.
