I wasn't going to do this til the end but I can never wait for anything. So here is the build of my B2000. The main 2 people that will be helping along in the build are Travis from Overspray Customs " target="_blank" target="_blank I will be doing about 90% of the build. The frame I have planned has never been done before and that is where Sadistic will come into help. I originally bought my 1st 83 B2000 several years ago, it was already fully shaved and bagged. I ended up redoing a ton of stuff on it and along the way I bought a "parts" truck. Well, I decided to turn the "parts" truck into the truck of my dreams and what I think Mazda should have built many years ago. I may forget to post on here so you can follow the build at " target="_blank you can also look me up on facebook but I won't be posting much up on there either. The plans are this...

1) Full custom frame (TOP SECRET UNTIL IT'S DEBUT @ SEMA - YEAR ???)
2) Shave everything except wipers, mirrors, and lights
3) Full Custom Paint - We have some ideas lined up
4) Stock Bench Seat Completely Recovered, all the rest of the interior I will be building
5) The bed floor will be raised and left stock with sheetmetal sides.
6) Keeping the 14" wheels with fullmoon hubcaps.
7) The frame will be black but with all read suspension parts
8. Drivetrain will all be from a 2nd gen RX7 (Twin Turbo 13B, Manual Tranny, IRS)

Onto the pics of the old and the project...

Also, the work you see above was done in about 10 hrs time. I'm not going to clock time on this because it's going to take forever! hahaha

Should have some more pics up before to long. Doing a SFBD on this with a complete 2nd gen rx7 drive train means that I don't have to cut the tunnel for the driveshaft or anything so I can completely finish all the body mods, interior, and bed, then I just have to build the frame. Which is going to be the longest most drawn out part of this build. But man is it going to be sick!!!

Looks good ryan, anymore pics of the suicidedoors? I'd really like to see some detailed pics. I know you would have to brace that back panel but shit these doors don't really weigh anything so sagging shouldnt be a issue.

Yeah man, I will get a lot of detailed pics for you when I get it all braced up. I don't want to post upclose pics right now due to people talking shit about what they don't know about on forums hahaha. Have you ever seen one of our trucks with suicide doors before? I guess it is because I put my hinges so far apart and wanted the upper hinge so high up but it falls right dead center of the door glass so I had to do some changing up of how I did it. But I got it to work haha. I will get you lots of pics soon man.

X2 on the doors. There's a howto thread somewhere on em for our trucks, but I still love seeing others work.
You going with an irs or solid axle?

Found it

I didn't know about that forum, I am signing up right now! I will be running a complete 2nd Gen RX7 drive train. I already have the IRS but I think I am going to buy a complete turbo charged 5 speed RX7 and just use all of it. Plus, I am going to build a bagged trailer that will match the truck and it will have a bar-b-que pit and cooler built into it. So the IRS I already have may come in handy for that. I am building the trailer out of the bed that is on the black truck. Lots of plans just not enough time. This will probably be a long drawn out process due to trying to make the side business fulltime and I plan on moving out to Cali soon. I got hit up for an offer that I can't turn down, just a matter of time.
