Make sure your front end is jacked up where BOTH front wheels are OFF the ground.
Mark a line on your torque bars where they go into their holder, and mark the holder in the same place.
Then loosen the bolt on the torque arm SLOWLY, it may still "pop" off rather quickly {one side of my truck did, one didn't}.
Then put the bar back into its holder about 1/4 lower than the mark you made on the holder {should go towards the ground, not up to the cab}. Remember you should have marked both the bar and holder with one line across both.
Some people adjust by counting the spline, but I did mine this way, {by looking at the marks which should be 1/4 apart after adjusting}, and it was fine.
Do the same for the other side then let the truck back down, and check the height.
If its still too high then do the whole procedure over, and move the bar about another 1/4 down on both sides and check height again.
I hope I didn't confuse you even more.
