Umm...I'll update this thread...
Truck was sold to a friend in 2012.
My friend moved. Didn't have room at his new apartment for the B2200 (and a '81 VW Rabbit)
So I got this truck back, as well as the VW rabbit.
It was in pretty much the same condition I gave it to him. Needs work, mostly suspension stuff.
How it is now: (And the VW Rabbit)
Hasn't been washed in 3 years or more.
I'm serious! It has mold/algae growing on it.
Just passes 100K miles. Tachometer reads about 1250 rpm too high. Needle slipped. And white, superglue prints all over the gauge faces.
Neon seats and Explorer console
FE3 is still in there. Hm. I figured it would have jumped out and ran away by now. I'd like to rework the wiring harness. Make it look cleaner and route the ECU into the cab.
Custom coolant overflow bottle...It needed was a rad cap so it would stop boiling over.
What I've done to it since I've had it
So far I've removed the rad fan bracket that wasn't really being used and used a 34.5 inch belt to just drive the alternator
Replaced a missing caliper bolt
Replaced the rad cap, adjusted the rear brake shoes and adjusted the pushrod lengths on the brake pedal.
This truck is for sale Either in this condition, or along the way as I get time to fix it up. Price will be inflated the more work I do. My buddy has asked me to sell it for him.
I NEED HELP
On suspension
Its lowered 3 inches in the back, the front has cranked torsions to match. (Not re-indexed, but not hanging too low, almost parallel with the road)
Rear bump stops cut flat, front bump stops removed (brackets still there)
Isuzu front shocks, mazda rears. The rear stops will sometimes smack the frame on occasion, with a load.
The front...The shocks bottom out. In fact, the front passenger side has a bent shock shaft. I put a set of front Isuzu shocks on and almost the same day, they bottom out and are instantly ruined.
Sooo...how are people doing a static drop and not bottoming out their shocks? My B2000 has a 4 inch drop and isuzu front shocks and hasn't bottomed out once.
