Looks like you are off to a good start. My truck sat untouched for 6 years and this site is good motivation seeing what everyone else is doing on their trucks.

started my notch, i was planning on back halfin at first but changed my mind when considering my lack of shop/ level driveway slab, so i went with the smaller triangle step.

Got the frame cut out, excess trimmed and most of the metal finishing out of the way. also "shaved" all the unsightly holes in the frame.

after i was satisfied with the metal finish i started caping the frame off at the end.

forgot to get pics of the cut and little fillers but it worked out nice

Threw a quick coat of rattle can on there to prevent rust

Started mapping out the x member for my links, went extra close to the cab and centered the driveshaft.

Plasma cutter and the grinder made for a sweet fishmouth

hey man nice work, love the color, im gonna get right to the point, is your carpet underlayment, the the stock one with the jute glued to the bottom of the rubber matt....still around and in good shape...i need one bad ....looking for both front and rear for extra cab....
