i want to up grade my dash speakers wats the best for the buck and sound

I've had Jensen 4 inch speakers in my B for well over a decade; makes my cassette tapes sound GREAT !!!

I have a set of boston acoustics that sound very nice but they arent the cheapest

I have Pioneer speakers, but I think "enclosing" the backside of those speakers might make more a of a difference than the type or cost of speaker. Making an enclosure would increase bass response. That is of course if you don't intend on using a sub-woofer.

I've been considering making those portions of the dash into enclosures when I do my stereo upgrade.
