hey guys,
im new to the forum but not new to b series mazdas. i am currently on my 3rd one. my first was an 88 2200 which was static dropped and rusted hard. the second was a SPL project named "the budget pounder" that my buddy and i did. and we did well with it. back in 97 we were doing solid 157's with 8 15's and 800 watts RMS. but this time with the current ride, i have kind of taken a tuner approach to it. i dropped in a S4 NA 13b, and i had the axles redrilled to a 4x114.3 bolt pattern and bolted up some 18" 5 spoke wheels. and now its time to move on to the important things, like bags. so here is my question... i really want to keep as much bed space as i can. is z framing the rear going to allow that? or should i just notch it and not worry about it because i cant have my cake and eat it too? or maybe there is a better way?? enlighten me.
any help and direction is appreciated. thanks.
mike
