So to start off with im brand new to the forum , not new to modding but new to truck\mini truck modding. For some backstory ive built two well known 300zx's "z32's" one twin turbo 1995 with 611 rwhp and a 11.3 in the quarter and a daily 1993 300zx non turbo that was also a monster performance wise as well as having a custom built fiberglass sub enclosure with 4 10" memphis audio subs and 1200 watts producing a 151db's. Now that ive been out for a little while due to a child and a wife ive decided that i wanna get back into the game but without the huge speeding tickets . So here i am. Ive already planned out a build so here it is.

*Exterior-

Nissan titan rims

7x6 blue projector halogen clear headlights with angel eye bulbs

Altezza tail lights "clear"

Replaceing turn signals which im still undecided on clear or stock

The body will just be getting cleaned up nice and painted as follows

Grille - Chrome

Front bumper - gloss black

Side mirrors - Gloss black OR possibly installing electric 300zx z32 mirrors.

Rear bumper removed\smoothed out with body

License plate in tailgate or flush with tailgate in the normal tag hole

The truck is going to be midnight blue

*Interior -

Major clean up needed!!! Carpet! Possibly a new dash or fiberglass and paint depending on availability at junk yard.

*System consists of

Pioneer headunit - Installed

two 4.5 rockford fosgate punch tweeter\midrange under the dash - Installed

two rockford fosgate punch 6.5 in the doors or kick panels

Sub setup\brand im still decideing on.

Engine-

Belts

Lightwieght pullys from a 626?

weber 32/36

new stock fuel pump

fuel filter

possibly the electric fan setup , need to do research though never tackled this.

*Also doing electric windows , not with a button but the chrome "window handle" that you just hit up or down for windows.

Ill come back as it comes to me what im forgetting. I know im going to be called a copy cat more then likely but as a grown man i really dont care. Heres my inspiration "minus the drop FOR NOW"

" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank

My big "project" on this is going to be installing T-tops....not sure if itll work and i could completely ruin the mazda but if it does work itll be one of a kind and if it doesnt i can always chop it off and go convertable.

Sounds f***** great man. I think the midnight blue will be awesome. And me personallywould go for the 5 or 6 spoke Titan wheels but that's just me. And how do you plan on doin t-tops that'll be cool as shit.

T tops are deff not going to be an easy task....I have a totaled "wrapped the front end around a tree" 300zx and im considering cutting the roof out of it and welding it into the mazda , i still need to do alot more measurements and make sure that it will all be cosure but yes a T-Top b2200 would\will be sick.

Ive also considerd taking a sawzall to the roof and just laying t tops in there lol...< alot faster but prob wont work.

Woohoo!
Any engine mods? aka... "front wrapped around a tree so the engine is fine so in it goes"
Mid engined v6 tt b2200?
Fantastic, you'll get alone well with 340i

Engine was fully built "non turbo" 12:5:1 compression , comp cam "270 duration with 8.8' lift" and the rear end was true pozy with 4:11's , the transmission was a stock 5 spd with a stage 4 clutch and 8lb flywheel and a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft and alot more but this is a mazda forum! lol....sold it all 5 days after i totalled it "needed money since i had alot of tickets and it only had liability and PIP". but o well.

---As far as the mazda engine mods go , basics. Gonna do the weber 32\36 and considering a header depending on the power\gas mileage after the weber.

Im actually in the process of ordering everything.....just got income tax in and i cant freaking decide on my sub setup! so many choice's.....im going with two 12's total in a custom fiberglass setup behind both seats but idk what brand to get...Im leaning towards rockford theyve always been my favorite and have very good SOUND quality...im not trying to set records just be loud while maintaining clarity. Im thinking two rockford P3's but im not sure what amp to power them with. And since im not competeing I just cant justify buying a 1500$ stereo system....couple hundred for subs , couple hundred for amp...any recommendations?

UPDATE- i did a little mockup , the 300zx seats will fit without much modification and the 300zx side mirrors will fit with a medium amount of modification. I will take pictures and give a walk through for everything as I do it.

Sweet, I was wondering if it was your 300 or not that was totaled.
Sad to hear it, though you know you're never supposed to admit wrecking the front end of a car, always back it in, it shows you were trying
There are a couple of interior/sound guys on here and they'll have opinions aplenty for your sounds
If Rockford are made in the USA then go for it, support the local economy though they're probably made (like everything) in Asia somewhere.

For the engine you may consider a SR20(probably DET) since you're obviously a Nissan fan
Mileage/performance and a small tribute to your now dead 300

oh and +1 to the seat mod.
zack1880   +1y
Already looked into a SR20 but the whole reason i got into a mazda was to stay outa tickets!!! lol If i put a sr20 in the mazda ill end up with a built redtop and 22lbs of boost at 400whp and into a tree! Much rather just have a clean daily driver lol.

And yes the seat mod is going to be nice i think , not only to glorify my subs loud'ness? But also I can have 2 peeps riding with me instead of just a passenger! lol
