anyone know how the vaccuum lines hook up on a 92 b2200 with a weber carb on it?

Here's how my 1989 B2200 is done.......should be the same as your 1992 truck really. You know you can get rid of all the other vacuum stuff on the passenger side fender, right?

Post a picture of what you have and we can help you get it all sorted out.

thanks alot, the two vacuum lines that come out from under the intake where do they go to? and do they come from a valve or something under the manifold. my intake has so many vacuum ports in it i had to buy 15 caps to cover them.

One goes to into the thermo valve on the underside of the manifold, and one comes out and goes to the EGR valve. With a Weber you don't need the EGR valve or need it connected (can use as a block-off, or make your own). The thermo valve doesn't need to be connected at all then.

My own Weber/system looks like Earl's photos, except not so neat and clean. Except my brake booster is neater lookin' than Earl's, his needs painting. I also have the heat shield over the exhaust manifold on mine. I also have a taller air cleaner.

I hope you bought good-quality caps, the vacuum caps from AutoZone or O'Reilly only lasted a few months, so I went back to vacuum tubing blocked off with wooden golf tees. I haven't tried NAPA or CarQuest vacuum caps yet.

Yeah, as Cusser has said, there is a thermo valve under there and those two vacuum hoses are just slipped onto the 2 fittings on it. There is NO vacuum on either of the two hoses.....I just ran them under there to make it LOOK like they were being used......If you can see the little black vacuum switch that they go to on the pass. fender (no vacuum there either!) that is the vacuum switch I'll use to hook up the "Idle Up" feature for the A/C compressor (just like the factory carb had) if I ever get around to making a bracket for the vacuum diaphragm that pushes/pulls the carb linkage to make this happen.

I'll probably just do the EFI on it and be done with it once I have some time to fool with it again.

I just got off the roof a couple of hours ago......started tearing off the 2nd half of the old shingles since it was good cooler weather here today.......tomorrow will be even cooler.....definitely better than the last tear-off sessions!!

Have I mentioned how sore my a$$ is tonight?? This is rough on an older guy!

thanks again, one more thing, the wires that go to the old carb do i need to do with them?
Cusser   +1y

The Weber electric choke should plug into the rear of the alternator, just like it does with the stock carb. Use the same wire.

The other wires to the carb: just tape up, or remove.
