My b2200 standred cab short bed has a 2 peace drive shaft and wen I slam it on air shocks driving it wants to blow out the middle u joint I've tryed to gauge it with a angle finder and I put 2 degree shims and it helped but not all the way stoped the problem...its got 3 in blocks and a mono leaf...anyone know what I might try or have hd this problem before? Or know a good start point I could try?

I would need pictures of the U-joint and axle to tell what you are saying. Not sure what you mean by blow out the middle u-joint, got a picture?

Is it just a mono leaf/w no overload?

its a mono leaf with a mini moon notch and 3in blocks and i have it on air shocks hooked up like bags to a tank and vaves and if i go down the road and bottom the shocks out you can hear a rumbling noise and vibration and it will break the u joint at the carrier bearing and drive shaft will come apart

its called axle wrap. your setup at the very least needs a tension rod to keep the axle from rotating. a 3 or more link would be better.

its not linked or anything or nothin major changed just a mini moon notch and 3 in blocks and mono leaf...thank bigger axle shims would solve the isue?

And is it a certin torque required for the rear end u bolts?

Is it only the main leaf? Or do you have the straight overload still in there? The Bolts should be VERY tight. Like 90 FT-Lbs, think "lugnut" tight.

Its the min leaf with one on top

I just notched the center cross bar out and fliped my carrier bearing and works great
