thought i should start posting here after introducing myself in the other forum. not sure what engine will be going into the truck since this engine is going to be pulled and sent to the junkyard but at this moment i have taken the interior apart and cut out the driver side floor and started welding new sheet metal in have decided at the same time to cut out my fender wells and put new single axle fenders in since both sides of the truck need new wheel well tubs for the firewall. after that need to patch both rear cab corners. hope ill get it all done before we get snow here in saskatchewan. will post pictures after i figure out how to ad photos here

Im in Saskatoon! Looks like you have a decent start. I discovered a dime sized rust hole in my floor corners when i cut my firewall to tub it.

wish it was only a dime size hole instead of replacing a good portion of the floor. i will take more pictures tomorrow finished the patch work or metal for the driver side floor and finished welding in the new wheel tub on the driver side next have to tackle the passenger side. and hope it wont snow anytime soon.

got a little bit more done on the truck had to completely remove the dash to finish the passenger side tub which was a good thing found wires just lying all over under the dash and the speedo cable not hooked up. will post the pictures of the progress so far and more as i get more done on the truck.

got the firewall all patched up and done with so i took the plastic bed liner off. only to find holes drilled in the wheel tubs of the box and all four corners of the floor rusted out. so put the bed liner back in till i can figure something out, also found the passenger door jam near the back is also rusted out and needs repair. but i think im going to have to wait till the winter is over to finish up the welding unless i can find a heated garage to rent for cheap so i can work on all this rust

well wont be doing anything for the winter on the truck unless i can find a heated shop to work on it so it will be sitting and waiting till the snow melts. have been looking around the internet and have been wondering if anyone has done a 2.2l ecotec engine swap into a b2200. just putting it out there to see what peoples thoughts would be about that as a swap.
