Hey guys, this is my 4th Mazda I have had and I WILL finish it. Wife left me so I got nothing but time and money. My first crush is my 2005 Magnum RT but this will be my side job for now. 1987 B2200 cab plus, that I bought for $400.

The plan...

Stock wheels, powdercoated silver with new tires
Stock body, no shaving
Bagged (EDC (Sanden 708) 5 gallon tank, F/B only, 3/8" valves)
Daily driver

Ok, after viewing some other threads... maybe it won't go stock daily... I want stock modified... a mild custom bagger.

I got some issues from the beginning. The guy I got it from, took the stock carburetor off and stuck a stromberg on it with a custom adapter he made. I have a stock carb I can use for now, but wanna go weber later on. I need it running asap so what vacuum lines are absolutely necessary, what can be plugged, and do I need to unplug the ECU.

#WINNING... Just sold the canopy off the truck for $100 to a buddy who needed it.

Start of day 2... Unbolted canopy and it went to a fellow mini trucker, for his mom. Then I decided I wanted to get rid of the musky mold smell in the truck cab, by taking every panel down, cleaning it, then putting it back in.

Canopy off

I got a ways then found the carpet was most likely the reason as the passenger floorboard was holding water. Worried me and I went digging for rust...

Torsions are still in... just loosened. I'm doing this one right.

Ok, you said de torsioned and that implies that you removed them. I just dont understand why anyone would remove them unless they are in the process of bagging. Some people just dont understand that the torsion bars are the equivalent of springs. You wouldn't drive your honda without springs, what makes you think it would be okay to drive your truck without springs (and by "you", I mean whoever i'd be saying this to, not you specifically).

Yeah its retarded in my opinion. Those are usually the same people who bag the front and don't reinstate shocks!
