Hey mate, could be a few things.... Would pay to check the following.....
Points:, make sure the gap is set right, they aren't burnt out, and that the distributor cam follower isn't worn out to the point that they aren't opening. If that's all good....
Make sure your coil ballast resistor isn't burnt out, check how much voltage you have supplying the coil and that your still getting good power supply to the coil whilst cranking the engine.
If you still don't have good spark (good strong spark should be blue and able to jump a gap of more than half an inch), test the spark coming from the coil directly, as opposed to the leads coming out of the distributor, of there is no change, replace your condensor, if there is good spark from the coil, but not from the distributor, then replace the cap and rotor button.
Check those few things and let us know how you go, you'll need good spark, set at the correct timing before trying to chase other running issues.
