Hello Everyone, Im new to the mazdabscene, but have been driving a mazda for about 3 years now and love it. Ive looked over just about every thread i could find on this website and am blown away by the helpfulness and ideas that flow in from the members. So you all have inspired me into starting my own little project. Ideas, criticism, what you think of the truck as a starting point, anything and everything you all want to add. All the advice and tips will be greatly appreciated. oh and by the way the truck is all stock, rebuilt transmission about 2 years back but thats it. 1991 mazda b2600i 2wd not sure of the trim i believe base model. Thanks in advance everyone and am looking forward to the responses.... Sorry couldnt figure out how to post pics, read the new post about it but still couldn't Here is the link to the album.

Come on guys I've read so many helpful threads from all of you. What's the first thing you would do to the truck? I also would appreciate some suggestions on how to keep the build relatively inexpensive. Any Ideas?

Couple of questions: some kinda light metallic ticking when acceleration think it could be lifters any suggestions and would replacing lifters stop this?

Any other things I should do to to tune up the engine I haven't mentioned I wanna get it to stock performance before I start putting aftermarket into the engine?

The best way to paint stock wheels and the metal above the hood where the vents are not sure what its called

Anything I can delete in the engine compartment except emissions I do have to pass testing every time I renew

I would also suggest doing the 02 and up ranger headlight conversion. Then I would lower your torsions 1 or 2 notches with lowering blocks in back for a mild drop.

What size blocks in the back 3 inches and I thought about doing hid lights conversion but you think the ranger conversion would be better?
