93 Ext Cab B2200, Project "No Goal"

so this will be my crazy build.... by crazy as in... nothing too crazy, or exciting will probably get done here lol... simple stuff for me. my crazy stuff comes out in my FC's.

So, Plans are

Simple, Yet Tasteful interior - Stereo, Subs, Gauges, Shifter and Seats

Exterior, once again, Simple Stock looking.

Suspension, probably a simple Torsion/Block Drop, maybe Air bags later on.

engine.... keep this one going, and then when she gives up.... we'll just have to go on from their? Rotary Maybe?

Oh well. theres my intro, taking pictures right now. i'll upload so ya'll can see my "B"

(for the Steering wheel, just so ya'll know, i have the center section, it works... just wasn't screwed on. fixing that today lol)

really???? the mounts don't line up at all! only 1 bolt per seat is holding them in!

What seats are those put of?

alright, so first couple questions...


1: Cold Starts... she HATES the cold... have to keep my foot on the gas for like 20 - 25 secs after first over night start up.

2: High Idle, Been searching the forum. but i'll post it here since its MY build lol. but its got a high idle, can't tell the Revs since i have no Tach, but sounds like 2500 - 2900 rpms. bout 3200 when first cold.

3: slight miss fires, i'm assuming from the high idle lol.

4: WTF IS THE EGR SHIT?!?!? lmao thats horrible looking! i wanna just cry everytime i see it! 4 seperate EGR Pipes just from the Manifold?!?! and then looks like another one from below the Manifold?!?!? WTF MAZDA!

5: This truck doesn't handle like my miata..... brown shorted myself going round a corner lol. total newb status believe me lol

6: too high..... i'll fix that issue lol

Weber that baby, we don't have that egr stuff over here... or that I've seen.
I agree, it's so fucking ugly!!!!

Do your plugs/leads/rotor etc and check your timing. Never hurts.
Give the carb links a bit of love and lube too.

Handling..... put some wider tyres/mags on!
Oh and check your bushes and shocks.
I put new shocks in mine and it was like a new vehicle, lol... I knew they were rooted but....OMG! were they ROOTED!!!!

Seats are from a 2001 Sebring. One bolt lines up the other three I drilled and through bolted. I even wired mine up so the adjustments worked.
