Here's the link to my intro, and a little history on the truck.

I picked up a tailgate today not far from home for $35.00. It needs a little bodywork, but nothing I can't handle.
The rear springs are ready to go back in, and the wheels are going to get painted this weekend. I hope, the weather today was GREAT!!! Not so great for the weekend though.
I need to pull the front bumper so I can paint it body color, and the stainless tubing for my grille arrived today. I made the brackets last week. Dean

The weather today SUCKED!!! Man I hate this place. Friday it was 77 and sunny, Saturday it was low 40's, cloudy and cold, today it was low 40's or less, and it rained most of the day. Really cold! Well it really started to rain when I went outside to work on the truck. Because of the weather I didn't get the wheels painted, but I did put the flipped rear springs in. I cut down some 2" lowering blocks to 1". The rearend is about 1" from the frame. I knocked the bushing out of a set of VW Bug rear shocks and I'm going to run them on the rear. I indexed the front torsion bars 3 notches. It's still on jack stands so I don't know where the front will sit yet, but I can adjust it to where I want it after the wheels are back on. I think I can run the stock shocks on the front. We'll see. It's suppose to be in the 50's tomorrow, so I hope to paint my wheels. Dean

Here's a teaser picture. It snowed about 10" yesterday so getting it out of the shop for a better picture wasn't happening.

Today I finished up the exhaust, installed the front shocks, installed the hubcaps for the first time, and sat it on all fours for the first time since lowering it. Now I need to pull the front bumper so I can paint it body color, paint the tailgate, and get it pinstriped. I need warmer weather for that though.
