I got this 88 b2200 a couple months ago and just got around to start working on it last weekend. It took me a couple months to find a complete toyota rear axle but I finally found one 2 hours south. I'm making this build log to hopefully keep me motivated since I tend to take things apart and then lose interest. I really enjoyed reading lwrlvl and Lowlyfe's builds so hopefully they can answer some questions for me haha. Anyway, this is where I am so far.

My first question is about the front bag size. I already bought dominator 2500's for the front but now I'm wishing went with the 2600 all the way around. I would had rather got slams but got a good deal on these for Black Friday. If I notch the frame rails and keep the bags as close in as possible will I get enough lift the clear the tires? I'm going to be running stock triangulated control arms with 2" toyota drop spindles and 225/30/20 tires.

Whats the back spacing on those rims? Mine are 45 with toyota spindles and it comes close to hitting the lip of the fender when raising. I rolled my front lips over round bar.

The wheels are 20x7.5's with a +40mm offset. I'm not sure on the back spacing. I just got the upper ball joints so I can get everything mocked up.

I haven't got much done as I'm still trying to get my garage set up. I did a little more tear down and got in some material.

Subscribed. This is going to be a nice build!

What brand is the steering wheel?

Steering wheel? It's stock. I'm confused.

Just about ready to start cutting...

I have no idea what I was talking about lol. Must have posted that question in the wrong thread. Either way, nice progress!
