Just picked up this sweet little B2200 from a buddy for $200, thats no typo . Its a real nice straight truck but the motors toast, popped head gasket and coolant in the oil, bye bye bottom end. Its just static dropped 3" fast and dirty with loosened torsions and blocks out back. Plans are to redo the drop, with some 3" lca's and indexed bars, and drop leafes and a notch out back. Going for 5-6 inches of drop, its not gonna be a daily. Buddy spent about $800 on a weber swap, header and full exhaust about a month before he blew it up so I'll retain that when I toss a new motor in. Also got some sweet oldschool wheels to go on it too sitting in my garage.

Edit: Ill upload some pictures in a bit, photo bucket doesnt want to play nice right now.

WOW!!! That's a sweet truck. What kind of old school wheels do you have? Post a picture.
Here's a picture of my static dropped 87. Is this how you want yours to sit? I reindexed the torsion bars, flipped the main leaf, and have two other leafs, plus the overload spring, and a 1" block. I'm running short shocks front and rear. 67 VW Bug in the back, and Isuzu truck in the front. No frame notch. It rides very well. The front tires are 195/75/14, and the rears are 225/75/14.

Thanks dean, Ive seen pictures of your truck somewhere, looks awesome! Thats about the ride height Im going for, maybe a hair lower. As for the wheels heres a pic, they need some cleaning, polishingand new black wall tires, but not bad for free. They came with a Dastun 521 I used to own.

Cool. Those wheels will be different. My truck is as low as i could go without cutting anything. I might cut the front bumpstop mounts off, but haven't decided yet. I might go just a little lower in the front.

Those wheels are dope. I reindexed my torsion bars 3 notches in the front. In the rear I monoleafed, flipped the overload leaf to the top and did a 3" block. I have no bump stops at all front or rear and I sit the frame about 1" from the axle. No I just need to figure out how to get lower.

Thanks, the wheels may not be everybodys thing but I think they will look good with the truck, kinda a mild throwback. If anybody in the NW has a good 2.2 Im looking.
