My dad and I finally painted my truck. Bondo filled in most of the dents and reduced others, but it looks better! Like some people say, "makes a beater neater".

I don't see any overspray on the windows and trim. You must not have done it right.

I'm probably gonna do this once I get all my body work done. I was gonna go plastidip but since I can get rustolem for cheaper and I'm not looking for a temp paint job then this seems a pretty good idea!

Thanks for posting these pics guys,

Fred

I am going this route, but I am doing flat white...my truck is a beater so I dont want to spend $$$ for a paint job and Maaco wont do.

came out really good man and gives me inspiration...just got to prep my truck

I used Rustoleum High Performance Protective Enamel, it can be found at like Lowe's. It will have a red and yellow stamp saying "Professional" on the can. The ratio i used to roll it on was 18 oz. paint : 4oz paint thinner (mineral spirits). No i'm not kidding, it was rolled on with a 3" foam roller and foam brushes for hard to reach areas. But if you want to use a spray gun you'd have to thin it out a lot more. I would of used a spray gun if i had a booth but all i have is a garage..
