I want to start working on my Daily Driver, an '84 B2000. I want to drop it about 2" both front and back without any drive line issues. Now I know about the "Search" function, but I am a complete beginner to doing my own work and there are a lot of "theories" but no one really saying what actually works. And as I said before, by starting my own work, because I stand firmly on the saying of "Better built than bought" and my dad doesnt really approve of me dropping my truck so I'm void of his help and have really no room for major error as this is my daily and only vehicle. So, does anyone have any threads or specific advice as to where to start?

Drop blocks on the rear and re index the torsion bars, you will need to have the front end realigned but the rest of it is pretty straight forward. Just need basic hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge.

84 Mazdas don't have torsion bars. They are coil springs up front I believe
