Been a while, but i had that mazda b itch. First off i think i caught a rare find.
1992 b2200 mileage 83,365 bought for 1200 from original owner. I have original owners manual and original keys. Found in fort kent maine very minimal rust mainly on rear bed wheel wells but only surface rust. It is an x cab 5 speed with everything bone stock hehe fun for meeeeee.
Future plans include the redline weber swap with a 36

Yeah, in the last 20 years I have not gone very long without a "B" (longest stretch was only a few months). I like these trucks more than most newer trucks (and people think I'm nuts cause I own much higher end vehicles too).
Something I just love about them!
Post up some pics so we can see the starting point.

Yes the horn will still work. All you need to keep are the 5 wires for the wiper motor. Welcome back!

Making Weber adapters flat
Lay out a sheet of 80 grit emery paper on a piece of glass the workbench, taped all 4 sides of it down, and ran both sides of both adapter plates back and forth on the sand paper until they were actually FLAT. From Redline, they were not even close to flat, though they seemed like they were. After taking off all of the high spots on both, I installed them one final time - and never had another problem with them again. No more vacuum leaks. No more nuts that wanted to loosen up. No more tedious re-seal jobs.

Thanks for the adapter info my other b had a knock off ebay weber installed when bought. Well this beautys getting a true redline weber 32/36 was thinking of doing a cam upgrade but cant seem to find one on sites i have checked any info or if one is even made? I know its `pointless` but i plan on having fun with this low mileaged 2.2 before i swap in a 307 from a 71 camaro later down the road.
