I have "saved" information posted by others that Pioneer Automotive Industries LLC Part Number CA-3087 (Autozone)

or at NAPA 1986 or 1989 RX7 (75" one) Speedometer cable will work

Here is a bit of info that could come in handy!

Although an 86' b2k has a longer cable/housing than my 83' b2k, the end-fittings, clips and threads are all the same size! Even the grommet for the firewall went in like butter.

$12 bucks at my local junkyard; somebody had even taken the dash apart already so it took about a minute to grab it! i did however clean it with brake cleaner and dress it LIGHTLY with wheel bearing grease.

Mine broke yesterday somewhere between me installing front wheel bearings and buying all the normal tune-up stuff.

Not a store in town had one; Napa said they could order some "universal" type but they could not give me a price or a timeline.... my bet was a month from now and WAYY too much $$$.
