With running the weber DGEV do I still need the computer under the drivers seat

No, the engine computer (ECU) is under the passenger side kick panel.

The ABS computer is under the driver seat.

For a weber swap you only need the four blue wires from the passenger side harness (on the fender) or any of the stuff attached to that side of the harness. You also only need a single vacuum line to run the distributor which attaches to the bottom of the carb - If I remember right.

I need help with my carb,Its using alot of gas so I adjusted the idle /air. It runs great you can smell gas like its running rich maby. So if I advanced the timing, would that help its a 5-speed so do I need to use a fuel pressure regulator, I understand thats for automatic only I bought this DGEV Weber to help my gas even bought a calibration jett kit but the kit jets number's are higher than whats in the carb so do you have any idea what I need to do. thanks

Is the choke operating properly?
A PR will do you NO good on the manual (if it has a mechanical fuel pump).
Did you follow the Weber install and adjustment procedures that came with the carb?
Is the timing set properly?

When you verify everything else is ok you could try these.

I ran a fuel pressure regulator for a year after I installed my Weber. All it did was leak then, and I had to remove it under a light at Burger King.

It didn't help my mileage, power, etc. But with electric fuel pump on the automatics you do need a FPR.
