Good choice. Did you buy a separate temp sensor or does this higher priced item provide?

It didn't come with one I ended up paying over a100$ for my fan control! Its a flexalite fully adjustable one. It works flawlessly if you are going for the efan upgrade I recommend the flexalite control!

Is it an adjustable temp sensor? Try to mount it out of the elements as much as you can. That was about the only mechanical problem I had with my whole truck was the temp sensor sticking on and then coming out to a dead battery in the morning.

Yeah its adjustable I put it up back by my charcoal canister. Its a weatherproof one. Its way nice I'll post a picture! The fan cools 5 times as good as my belt driven one

Have you felt any noticeable performance gains after installing the fan?

Yes I have it raps out a ton faster and I've noticed a 2-3 mpg gain too maybe more I drive 60 to 100 miles a day for work. The fan kicks on for about 12to 15 seconds. That's how fast it cools. The fan is rated at 1900 cfm. Mishimoto doesn't make this fan anymore it is a 16 inch sSBlade I don't know why they stopped making the s blades. In my opinion it was stupid on there part. it is much quieter than the straight blades!

Couple that fan with a three wire denso o2 sensor and enjoy greater mpg gains from even quicker warm-up times.

Ha how much do those run? I might look into that?
