we will be picking up a weber carb, header, and tail gate later today for a good price. she plans on dropping it, radio upgrade, new 'roll pan' and possibly 18" titan wheels. she ready to do everything her self. ill be there to teach, but she wants to do it her self
need to find a good front bumper, and possibly go get the 2600i hood i found.

I bought my '88 in 1994, with a small dent in the front bumper. My front license plate essentially disguised that real well. Anyway, Arizona ditched the requirement for front paltes, and I then had a vanity plate up there. But about 1.5 years ago, while buying online bumper center for my daughter's '98 Pathfinder (dented when SHE bought it), I decided to buy a Mazda bumper center section, cost about $50. I re-used my plastic bumper ends. Anyway, only issue was that four carriage bolts from original had larger shoulder than the square holes in the new bumper, so had to file those down. Later found that Ace had ones that fit.

So I've kept the other bumper, just don't know why....

Yea we don't require front plate either. Where you get yours on line?

i found one off of ebay too. $50 aint bad shipped to the door. since last post, we have gotten weber carb, header, new speakers, silverado 17's, drop blocks, fresh tune up. hopefully i'll get the fronts dne for the wheels tomorrow, lwer it in the front and be ready for camp and drag this weekend. it'll be my girls 2nd show, and shes driving her truck in. she wishs she could have done more of the work her self but third shift kicks her butt
