I uploaded all of my photos that I took during my swap. I didnt take many photos, but just ones of my progress. I dont think there is any pictures of my mounts or anything that I made, but if you have any questions, just ask.

Truck started out as a 1993 Canadian B2200 regular cab, short box, 5-speed, no power steering, no A/C, lowered with 3" blocks in the rear and turned torsion bars in the front. Truck was a factory EFI truck.

The motor came from a complete 1986 RX7 non-turbo 5-speed. I retained the factory Mazda EFI on the motor, removed all emissions stuff, including the air pump.

I removed the box and cab from the frame since it was only a couple extra hours work to remove the cab, and I applied POR-15 to the entire frame, did this on new years day, 2 coats and it was brushed on, took 7 hours lol. I had enough POR-15 left to do the cab floor. I removed the lowering blocks as I was having drive shaft issues, I only had about 1/8" left of drive shaft travel into the transmission, and I was getting ticking under any load coming from the drive shaft, i'm at stock height and no problems.

I pulled the truck into the garage to start work on November 1, 2013, and I started up for the first time on April 18, 2014.

Here is my Photobucket album:

What were the body mounts that you used? They didnt quite look like factory Mazda mounts.

Are you talking about the cab to frame mounts? If so they are all stock. Cab has never been off of this truck before. They may have changed the design over the yeats as this truck is one of the newest B2200's in north america, built in May 1993 lol.

Yes cab to frame, I have a 91 and 93 B2200 currently stripped. Just took a closer look and they are the same. Mine were rotted to unrecognizable.
