hey whats up guys i need help finding the carburetor float level adjustmet screw on the stock carb. i checked the fuel level in the bowl threw the glass little square on the side of the carb and it was high with the engine running, the only reason why im even trying to adjust the float level is because im trying toi get the truck ready for smog here in california. and if i can fix it instead of having to buy a new one i rather do that.

so any help would be awesom
and if you guys have any instructions with pictures that would be great

There is no adjustment screw. If the float has gone bad enough to sink in the bowl, maybe you can adjust the tang by bending it.

wait so what your trying to say is to open up the carburetor and bend a tab on the float its self ?

When you get the top of carb off, if the float is not metal, it may have absorbed some fuel, making it heavy, so level rises. If you find it is not metal, replace it and check the float level by the carb specs chart before bending the tang. New float should be close to bent right.
