signal light trouble

I'm having some trouble with my 93 b2200. when i turn my parking lights on my left signals are constantly on (not flashing just bright) and the indicator on the cluster is always on. The right signal works but the left stays on even when the right is flashing. The hazard lights make the right and left stay on (again not flashing), the indicators on the cluster are on but not flashing as well. Does anyone know what could be causing this? i took apart the steering column but still cant see anything.
any ideas?

sounds like you have a short between wires
with the lights off, turn on the signal, and see if the parking lights flash with the signal
if yes then you need to find the pinched wire, start from the corner light and work your way back, and do the same starting from the tail light
if nothing check the interior, the plug is at the cab wall and work you way through,
if you installed, added or mounted something make sure you didnt hit any wires
unplug all the lights on the left side and see if the problem is still there, if its gone then it might be a faulty light, but if its still there then its in the wiring for sure
