machine shop charged me 20$ a wheel, 80$ to spin a machine and that was 13 years ago, i imagine its gone up from then
well there is a super cheapy way of doing it and a friend and i did it
its ok if you dont plan to have wheels hub centic, which my wheels have a 4" bore and the mazda bore is 3.75" and i havent had a problem and ive had the wheels for years
first off, the mazda hub size 3.75" and the eskies are 3.25"
tools needed:
a good electric drill (not battery powered)
a 3.25" bi metal hole saw
a 3.75" bi metal hole saw or bigger to be safe like a 4"
and penitrating oil
now what you want to do is take the 3.25 hole saw and put it inside the larger one (i.e.4") and feed the pilot bit through them, and fasten the locking nut on which will lock everything together, the pilot bit wont do anything but hold it together, but the 3.25" hole saw will be the guide to drill the hole centered in the rim
put the bit on the drill
place bit in rim
and start drilling, but keep the rim on a solid flat surface and keep the drill as straight as possibe
might want someone with you when you do this to keep lubercating the bit as you drill, to keep the bit cool
let me know if you dont understand anything ive said
