Alt ?

On the stock alternator there are three wires I'm guessing. I say I guess because all the wires on my alt came out and just feeling around back there it seems like there is a place for three wires. So if it is three wires to the alt, one goes to my carb., the other two are a yellow/red and a yellow/black... does anyone know if the yellow/red goes in the top lug or the bottom and conversly the yellow/black goes in the opposite? I hope this makes sence, I've had seven beers now. I really want to get my Mazda running today, after I sober up from sleep, and if you can help me with this alternator issue, I would worship you forever... or maybe just send you a thank you.

Can somebody please look at your stock alternator and tell me the position and colors of the wires that connect to it? Please

the black and yellow wire is the turn on i believe. so id hook that to the positive post. and i dont think you even have to hook up the other wire. i didnt lol
