I have lost a plug, that all I can figure is the oil passage for the turbo version of these engines. It's in the block casting where the oil filter goes. If your looking straight at the engine from the passenger side it's at about ten o clock right behind the oil filter sealing surface. Not sure what size it is but I looked at another engine in a junk yard and it looks like a small freeze plug that's pressed in. Mine has came out and can't find it. Does anyone know where I can find another so I can stop the oil from shooting out all over the place and drive this truck again?

mazda dealer or wrecking yard

I tried the dealership here and they don't know what I am talking about. They don't know jack shit honestly. And the wrecking yard, I got a feeling I will destroy it by the time I get it out. Was hoping for other suggestions.

Yeah, tap it and use sealant. Threaded plugs are availible at most better auto parts stores. Here I use NAPA.
