This kinda got lost

I have a 86 2.0 carb dawg. I also have a 91 2.2 FI dawg. Needless to say that the 2.2 is waaaaay faster. So i wanted to do a swap. I will be trying to find another donor truck for the project. My question is what would be easier, a full swap or just swap the carb set up for FI? And if a full swap would it still pass smog and what else would i need as far as electrical and fuel parts?

hmmm are you talking putting a weber on a carbed mazda or are you talking put a carb on a FI motor? and if you got the swap going just make sure you have the ECU and the wiring harness for the efi motor. and find out if the fuel pump is an in tank or a inline. and make sure you have one haha
