Hi.. I'm new to this forum. I just picked up a 92 b2200 n the power steering pump is leaking from the nut that holds the hose on. I thought it was bc it didn't have any crush washers so I added one before n after the hose n tightened the nut. Still leaking. Mazda couldn't help me, they wanted me to buy the whole pump. Advanced auto parts has a seal rebuild kit but they have no clue what comes with it n takes a wk to come in. Can someone here point me in the right direction pls? Thank you for taking the time to read n your help..

Replace the pump

for the power steering assembly you have a tapered fitting that makes it seal. I'd try to clean the threads on the PS pump and lines before buying anything. Also, there is a teflon tape that is designed for petrolium products. If it's just leaking at the threads then I'd give this a shot before buying a new pump, or a new line. Pics would help.

Thank u for ur help guys. I finally got it. I replaced the oring on the line n put a washer on that nut n it seems to have done the job.

No problem. Thanks again.. so I just picked this truck up not too long ago n I'm trying to work out all the bugs to get it on the road. Drove it around a few miles yesterday n noticed the gears we sticky.. I pulled the shifter out n noticed lots of shavings in there. Looks like I'm going to need a tranny asap. :\
