U joints

Anybody had any luck changing u joints? I've had several shops tell me they are non-replaceable u joints?....never heard of it!! Anybody got any ideas/suggestions?

thats what they say but yes you can change them..autozone sells the replacement..there is a c-clip on the inside of each cap that you have to get out befor getting it apart

I'm pretty sure they come out. I was able to get the outside c clips out but I'm still working on the inside ones. They don't seem to be welded in or permanently pressed in....I'm pretty sure I can heat em up hot enough to get em out lol
